Specialist Elderly Care

We understand that everyone is an individual and different condition may need to be treated differently. That is why we provide specialist assessment and high quality training based around your individual needs. Our expertise is broad and includes; cancer, neurological impairments, MS, Parkinson’s, MND, early intervention in mild cognitive impairments, chronic degenerative conditions like arthritis, chronic pain and more. Our care plans are bespoke to you and your needs, if you do not see your condition listed above, contact us and we’d be happy to discuss our expertise in this area.

Dementia/ Wandering/ Alzheimer's care & support


If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with Dementia or Alzheimer’s, we understand it can be a very scary time. We support you in regaining some of the joy you may have lost. We can work with you at any stage in your Dementia/Alzheimer’s journey. Our highly specialist assessment identifies how to support you at any stage, from mild symptoms to seemingly aggressive behaviour or wandering. (incl. specialist Assistive Tech assessments) Our Care Partners know that this behaviour is just a way to communicate an unmet need. We help ensure that need is met, in all circumstances.

Palliative/End-of-Life Care

Never something we shy away from. We know that with Palliative care or end of life care, things can change dramatically from one day to the next. We know this is an emotional time and there is no clear path from day one to day two, that is why our Nurses and Healthcare Assistants are on hand to continually assess any rapid changes, ensuring that you or your loved ones are kept as comfortable, safe and respected. We help ensure all needs are met and you are able to focus on what matters most - helping you plan your own priorities knowing that you are in safe hands with your care.

Neurological Impairments/Stroke Care

Experiencing difficulty due to a neurologic impairment, such as MS, Parkinson’s or MND? We understand the frustration that is associated with Neurological Conditions. We work closely with Registered Physiotherapists create an individual plan with you to reduce your discomfort while ensure our Health care assistants support you in maintaining your independence as long as possible. We also understand that every Stroke is unique. Our ethos with Stroke care is engagement with rehab. We want you to regain as much strength and independence on your journey as possible.

Rehab & Re-ablement Care

Have you experienced a change in circumstances, maybe even had a fall that has knocked your confidence. Our Physiotherapists associates will provide a full assessment looking at everything from balance to blood pressure. With that information and your input we can together come up with goals that our Healthcare Assistants can work on with you. From at home exercise Program to prescription equipment, we’ll help you get back to your baseline abilities.

Cancer Care

Do you or a loved one have Cancer? We know it’s not an easy emotional of physical time. We understand the stages of your health care, so we know how to ensure your care is optimally planned. Our Healthcare assistants have received the highest quality training around Cancer, to ensure that you are always in safe hands. If applicable to you, we can provide you with a fatigue management program or prescribe specialist equipment via our Physiotherapists Partners to enable you to maintain your independence. We are here to support you during what we understand is a difficult time for all.

Domiciliary Care

We bring professional help right to your doorstep, so you can keep living the life you love in familiar surroundings. Our friendly carers pop in, or stay as long as you need, to lend a hand with everyday tasks and personal care, always working to a care plan that’s written with you at the centre.

Respite Care

Even the most devoted family carers need a breather now and again. We step in for a few hours, a few days or longer, providing seamless short term care so you can rest, recharge or take a holiday knowing your relative is safe, comfortable and enjoying friendly company at home.

Live-in Care

This arrangement allows for round-the-clock support and assistance, which can be particularly beneficial for seniors or individuals with disabilities who need help with daily activities. The staff member can help with everything from personal care, companionship, medication management, meal preparation, community access, mobility and transfers, all while ensuring your comfort and safety in your own environment. Our Live-in care is a more personalised and flexible alternative to nursing homes or assisted living facilities. Acestar Care offers live-in care in the following catchment areas (not limited to these areas) : All of London & Greater London, Surrey, Oxford, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Essex, Berkshire, Hampshire, Surrey, Sussex, Devon, Cornwall, Swindon, Dorset. Please take note that we can only deliver live-in care here, and not domiciliary care

Specialist Care for Complex needs

Clients with high level clinical needs can stay safely at home thanks to our nurses and complex care assistants, trained in procedures such as ventilator and tracheostomy management, PEG feeding, catheter care and seizure support. We work closely with NHS teams to keep care seamless and standards high.

Supported Living

For people who want their own front door but still need a bit of backup, our Supported Living service offers the best of both worlds. We help with daily tasks, budgeting, medication and community links, boosting independence while ensuring support is always on hand.

Night-Time Welfare/Reassurance checks

Returning home from hospital, living alone, or managing through the night can feel worrying at a times. At Acestar Care, we provide caring and reliable welfare and reassurance checks to help you or your loved one feel safe, supported and comfortable at home. Sometimes that's all is needed for someone to build back their confidence to continue living at home instead of going into a carehome. Our night-time care support is available from 10pm to 6am. We will pop-in for 30-45mins per visit/call. Whether you need reassurance after a hospital discharge, support with toilet visits, help with drinks, personal care, or simply someone to check that all is well, our trained Healthcare assistants are here to help.
